FieldTurf Again Selected For NFL Experience At Super Bowl XLV

FieldTurf has once again been selected as the official turf for the Super Bowl’s NFL Experience, slated for January 27-30 and February  2-6 in Dallas, the site of Super Bowl XLV. This marks the thirteenth consecutive year that FieldTurf has been the NFL’s turf supplier for the NFL Experience which is one of the most widely attended events on the NFL calendar. Millions of fans have attended since its inception in 1992. Well over 100,000 square feet of turf will be installed for this year’s event – marking the largest NFL Experience artificial turf area since it was started.

The NFL Experience is the NFL’s interactive theme park offering fans the opportunity to participate in games, displays, entertainment attractions, kids’ clinics, free autograph sessions and the largest football card show.

“We are pleased to work again with FieldTurf,” said NFL Vice President of Events Mary Pat Augenthaler. “Our goal is to provide the very best surface for our fans to play on and having the same product for our activity areas that so many NFL teams use on a regular basis is a telling sign that we have accomplished our goal.”

In keeping with the “everything is bigger in Texas” theme of this Super Bowl, this will be the biggest NFL Experience to date, with 75 interactive games and attractions.

This also will be the longest running NFL Experience, spanning nine days, including Super Bowl Sunday.
