Ex-Xaverian Assistant Baseball Coach Gerard Bruzzese Charged In Multi-Million Dollar Gambling Bust

A former Xaverian High School assistant baseball coach was charged Monday in a sweeping takedown of mob-run sports betting rings, officials said.
Gerard Bruzzese, 46, is one of 17 men accused of participating in five bookmaking operations – one with ties to the Sicilian Mafia.
