Eastern Washington Reaping Rewards Of Red Field

Eastern Washington University’s $975,000 investment in a new, artificial football field installed by Sprinturf, Inc., has already paid huge divdends. The school is saving $12,000 in field maintenance and 300,000 gallons of water annually. Plus, ticket sales have tripled and merchandise, including the popular “Red is the New Green” T-shirt, has been flying off the shelves.
