South Dakota State basketball coach Scott Nagy has been personally affected by the earthquake in Haiti. His adopted daughter is from Haiti and he still hasn’t been in contact with her birth mother. On Saturday, Nagy plans to coach barefoot in an effort to help collect shoes and money for earthquake relief in Haiti through Samaritan’s Feet, a charitable organization based in Charlotte, N.C.
