Crowd Hears A.D. Suffer Heart Attack While Working P.A. At Football Game

NEW YORK — The athletic director of a Brooklyn high school is recovering after he suffered a heart attack while announcing a football game.

Erasmus Hall High School Athletic Director Marshall Tames was announcing a game against rival Midwood High School on Saturday when he collapsed.

The team doctor rushed to Tames’ side and used a defibrillator to revive him.

The crowd at the game heard the drama unfold over the stadium’s public address system

Tames is recovering at Maimonides Hospital.
