Coach With 56 State Titles Wins National Coach Of The Year

Jim Tate, who has won 56 state titles between his boys and girls track and cross country teams at St. Paul High (Mobile, Ala.) since 1978, was named the girls track and field coach fo the year by the National High School Coaches Association.
