Call for proposals: 2016 Team Sports Conference & Expo

Next year, we will launch the Team Sports Conference & Expo at Chicago’s Navy Pier, the premier event for coaches, athletic directors and athletic trainers.

In addition to our show floor featuring some of the top products in the team sports industry, the conference will offer an array of educational opportunities for coaches and athletic administrators. And we’d like your input.

What topics or speakers would you like to see at the inaugural Team Sports Conference & Expo? What issues in team sports are important to you?

We invite you to give your input and let us know what interests you most. We would also like your feedback on potential speakers. Here are some of the categories we will cover at our inaugural event.

• Athletic administration
• Team management (general instruction in running a program)
• Football
• Basketball
• Baseball
• Softball
• Volleyball
• Track & field

We would also like to hear from those interested in presenting during one of our workshops. If that’s you, please send a proposal to Education Director Kevin Hoffman at [email protected]. Please include the following:

• Experience in coaching, athletic administration or other team sports capacity
• Speaking experience, including panels or workshops
• Topic(s) of the session

The exhibition floor will include a football field and a basketball/volleyball court to allow for live drill presentations in various sports.

Please submit your ideas for topics or speaking proposals by Friday, Nov. 6, 2015. The Team Sports Conference & Expo is scheduled for June 27-29, 2016.
