It’s the single largest gift in Bowling Green State University and MAC basketball history.

For 60 years, Findlay native Bill Frack has followed BG’s men’s basketball team. And he wants to strengthen the program’s future with a series of trusts. Their combined value — more than $10 million.

Frack has been a devoted Falcon fan since 1948 when he went to see his first game in the old Men’s Gym. Frack says he hopes his contribution will, in his words, “take Falcon basketball to the next level.”

“I told myself this is the only time in my life I’ll be able to do this. By the time the Stroh Center is torn down, I’ll be long gone. I wanted to do something to let people know how much I appreciated how much Coach Anderson and all the coaches I’ve known have been so nice to me. This is one way to say thank you,” said Frack.

It’s not the first time Frack has donated to BGSU. In 2008, he provided a leadership gift to help start the Stroh Center, which is set to open in the fall.
