After Several Years, Coach’s Title Ring Found…On Roof Of Tavern

July 6, 2012 /
In 1997, the Dominican High (Wis.) boys basketball team was a state title. Coach Paul Wollersheim and his players bought championship rings to commemorate the achievement. Wollersheim’s ring was taken by a construction worker doing work on his unfinished condo and was just found on the roof of Von Trier tavern in Milwaukee. The best guess is that the construction worker who took it tossed it on the roof the tavern while being pursued.
