228-Game Winning Steak Is Snapped

Moorestown High School’s (N.J.) girls lacrosse team, which had won 228 straight games against state competition heading into Monday’s contest against Shawnee High, finally lost its first game in a decade. Shawnee stunned Moorestown, 7-6, in the South Jersey Group 3 championship game.
