School Cites Lack Of Players, To Take Year Off From Football

Morristown-Beard School (N.J.), which finished last football season with just 19 players, is taking a one-year hiatus from varsity competition this season. Athletic director Dave Doyle said the team will play a junior varsity schedule this year as he said it is “irresponsible to play a varsity schedule this year with what we have.”
