Rick Pitino, Louisville men’s basketball coach, wants the NBA draft withdrawl date pushed back for college players who might want to enter the draft. He says the current date of May 8 is too early because no one is working out players yet. This is the first year of a new rule, which made the date earlier. Previously, players had up until 10 days prior to the draft to withdraw.
