Brain Trauma/Concussions Can Mimic A.L.S.

Doctors at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Bedford, Mass., and the Boston University School of Medicine, who were the primary researchers of brain damage among deceased National Football League players, are publishing a peer-reviewed paper claiming that some athletes who had been diagnosed with ALS actually suffered from concussionlike trauma of the brain.
