204 Seasons Of Coaching And Still Going

Joe Gilbert, who has completed 204 coaching seasons for Barnsdall High (Okla.), has been profiled by USA Today for his longevity on the bench. Gilbert has been coaching at the school for 56 years and mostly spent his time in charge of the girls fast-pitch softball team in the fall, boys and girls basketball in the winter and slow-pitch in the spring. Gilbert just recently gave up his post as boys basketball coach.
