USC Baseball Coach Ray Tanner Receives Order of Palmetto from Governor Mark Sanford

In a ceremony led by Gov. Mark Sanford and Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin, USC Baseball Coach Ray Tanner received the state’s highest honor for a civilian.
Sanford presented the Order of the Palmetto to Tanner during a Thursday afternoon ceremony, while the baseball coach presented the governor with a gift of his own: a South Carolina baseball hat featuring the team’s classic logo.
