The Overlake School (Redmond, Washington) has a service day, which Junior Katie Hill (a 3-sport athlete) says brings the school into the community and translate that sense of belonging and helpfulness to their daily life and activity groups/teams.

The Overlake School is a part of the Inaugural class of the “Interscholastic Program of Excellence.” Commissioned by Coach And Athletic Director, this program recognizes high school athletic programs that, through the efforts of their coaches and administrators, set the standard for integrity, sportsmanship and a positive overall experience for student-athletes.
