Mike Anderson Video On Leading By 3 With Less Than 10 Seconds To Play
By Michael Austin, Senior Editor
I had the opportunity to sit down with then-Missouri (now Arkansas) men’s basketball coach Mike Anderson in February for the April Coach & Athletic Director cover story. During our conversation, he allowed me to record his thoughts on his strategy when leading by 3 points with less than 10 seconds to play in a game. Anderson faced this exact situation against Georgetown on Nov. 30, 2010.
His team elected not foul and Georgetown hit a game-tying 3-pointer to send the game to overtime where the Hoyas eventually won. Find out if Anderson would use the same strategy again.
