Wisconsin’s Bo Ryan Named Big Ten Coach Of The Year

For the third time in his 12 seasons leading the University of Wisconsin men’s basketball team, Bo Ryan has been named Big Ten Conference coach of the year.

Ryan was honored by both the media and the coaches. The award was announced Monday night on the Big Ten Network’s selection show.

Ryan also won the award after leading the Badgers to Big Ten titles in 2001-02 and 2002-03, his first two seasons at UW.

The Badgers (21-10, 12-6 Big Ten) have finished at least fourth place or better in the Big Ten in each of Ryan’s 12 seasons, including a tie for fourth this season.
