Wisconsin A.D. Alvarez To Appear On ’Entourage’

CHICAGO — University of Wisconsin-Madison athletic director Barry Alvarez will make an appearance with Mike Ditka on an episode of HBO’s “Entourage” this season, Ditka said in a radio interview.
Ditka, the Hall of Fame tight end and former Bears head coach, said on The Waddle & Silvy Show on ESPN 1000 in Chicago that he and Alvarez were approached for cameo appearances in the “Entourage” series finale this season, according to a report on nbcsports.com.
“This just came up spur of the moment, and actually, you know, it was a good experience,” Ditka told ESPN Chicago. “I didn’t realize how big a deal it was, I’ll be honest with you. I’m kind of naïve about those things, and I understand it is a pretty big deal, and yes, I think it is very nice. And Coach Alvarez is on it with me, so both of us are there.”
“Entourage” will wrap up its eighth and final season this year.
