USC Sanctions Its Program

Seven months after former head men’s coach Tim Floyd admitted to giving former USC recruit O.J. Mayo $1, 000 to a man who helped direct Mayo to the school, USC has imposed penalities on its program. USC will not play in the postseason this year, including the Pac-10 tournament, two scholarships have been reduced and the Trojans forfeited all victories from the 2007-08 season.
