Kenny George, the 7-foot-9 center who helped lead UNC-Asheville to a school-best 23-10 record in 2007-08, may return to the school as a student and a volunteer assistant coach. George’s playing career was cut short when he contracted MRSA, a resistant staph infection, in August 2008. At the time, he had part of his right foot amputated.
