NFHS #BecomeAnOfficial campaign kicks off seventh year

The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) is kicking off its seventh year of #BecomeAnOfficial! Since the launch of this campaign in 2017, #BecomeAnOfficial has helped recruit over 112,000 applicants who have indicated their interest in becoming an official.

nfhsThe NFHS has a refreshed look to its site, HighSchoolOfficials.com, and it has added the ability to download the #BecomeAnOfficial toolkit, which has resources such as print ads, email signatures, posters, and more. Each toolkit is customized to each state and can be downloaded by anyone. Check out the new look and toolkit from the NFHS.

Becoming a licensed high school official is an easy call. Officiating allows you to continue being a role model by demonstrating qualities such as impartiality, fairness, and courage. High school officials help protect the integrity of the games we love by teaching and enforcing the rules of play. As veteran officials continue to retire, new officials have an opportunity to make a difference in their communities right away.
