After being held scoreless in the first half, York finished with 19 points including two key 3-pointers in the game’s final minute. His biggest was a go-ahead 3-pointer with 17.9 seconds remaining to put Arizona ahead 62-61.
York said afterward the play that set up his game-winning shot is called “Money Triple.” It’s not an incredibly unique play, but Arizona ran it to perfection several times Thursday to free York for an open shot.
