The Great Northwest Athletic Conference suspended Dave Daniels for one game for unsportsmanlike actions after Saturday’s game at the University of Alaska-Anchorage. Daniels will sit out Thursday night’s home game against Western Washington.

The Crusaders men’s soccer team added two players. Emmett Demirelli, a Centennial High graduate, originally joined the Oregon State program as a freshman and later played at Chemeketa Community College in Salem, Ore. Luke Broz, a graduate of Boise High, spent one season at Highline Community College in Seattle.

IDAHO-IDAHO STATE MEN’S BASKETBALL: The Vandals and Bengals will play their BracketBusters game Feb. 23 in Pocatello. The former Big Sky opponents have played 100 times in series history, with the Vandals leading 58-42.
