Tom Vix didn’t travel or relax with his year off from coaching last season. The Rushford-Peterson High School (Minn.) boys coach spent extra time with his older sister, who was battling cancer. She passed away in June. Vix said the year off from the game put life and coaching in perspective – read his story below.
