ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — A local coach will be coaching his 1,000th game tonight, but many members of his family may be wishing for a tie.
Bob Esguerra is in his first year coaching boys basketball at Stanton Preparatory School after 22 years coaching boys and girls at St. Joseph Academy in St. Augustine.Making tonight’s game against St. Augustine High School more interesting will be the fact that game 1,000 will be against his own son’s team.

The game tips off at 7:30 p.m.
