Sports Laundry Systems launches CS-Series dryer line

Sports Laundry Systems, a Continental Laundry Solutions brand, has introduced its new CS-Series dryer line for athletic laundries, which comes in 25–35-pound, 40-50-pound, 60-70-pound and 85-95-pound capacity models.

According to the company, CS dryers offer durability, serviceability and performance as well as multiphase programmability for sensitive drying of delicate uniforms or technical fabrics or timed-dry operation to fit most applications.

“Our slogan with the CS dryer is ‘dry your way’ because it gives you the best of both worlds,” Continental Vice President of Sales Joel Jorgensen said in a news release. “At the same time, it’s durably constructed and simple to service thanks to error alerts and alarms reporting, with 90 percent of diagnostics performed from a flip-down front panel.”

Sports Laundry Systems says the CS dryers also allow athletic laundries to eliminate air-drying and instead delicate items and technical fabrics are safely dried to preset moisture levels to eliminate over-drying and damage to items.

An Inteli control system allows users to choose from 10 preset and 40 customizable programs. Pro Mode allows advanced programming by phase (temperature, moisture level, drum speed, reversing time) while Easy Use Mode offers one-touch operation with eco, soft and half-load settings. Operators also can adjust temperature, time and drum speed on the fly without stopping the cycle.

Moisture sensing and reversing prevents over-drying, reduces tangling and extends fabric life, according to Sports Laundry Systems. Its transflow airflow technology routes heat energy and airflow from the top-rear to the bottom front of the cylinder, maximizing load penetration, accelerating evaporation and speeding dry times. This exclusive technology borrows the positive efficiencies of axial airflow and eliminates airflow load compression, hot spots and the challenging services issues that come with cylinder belts, roller wheels and gaskets.

Finally, auto-speed adjusts cylinder rotation speed based on load conditions, ensures proper load separation, eliminates tangling and is meant to create faster dry times.
