Replacing a legend is not easy…so Reese High (Mich.) opted to do so with two coaches instead of one. Seventeen-year veteran Jeff Casler retired in 2008 coming off a 19-0 regular season. Reese went with two head coaches to replace Casler and Mike Tanner (Casler’s assistant) and 14-year coaching veteran Denny Gruber (Reese girls coach) have filled in admirably.
