Georgia WR Arrested for Family Violence, False Imprisonment

A recent transfer wide receiver to the recent National Champion Georgia Bulldogs was arrested early Monday by university police on two charges, including a felony.

Rodarius ‘RaRa’ Thomas was charged with felony false imprisonment and misdemeanor battery family violence first offense, according to the Clarke County Jail online booking report.

georgiaAccording to the booking report, Thomas, 20, was booked at 4:05 AM and remained jailed at 8:20 AM Monday morning.

Additional details of the incident were not immediately available.

Thomas joined the Bulldogs after playing for SEC West Mississippi State, leading the team with 626 receiving yards on 44 catches with seven touchdowns in 2022. He is a junior wide receiver from Eufaula, AL.

The former Mississippi State wideout was expected to be a key addition for the Bulldogs after losing receiver Adonai Mitchell to Texas via the transfer portal. Georgia also added wide receiver Dominic Lovett for Missouri. Last season, Lovett led the Tigers with 56 receptions for 846 yards and three touchdowns.
