Accomplishments
Battas spent seven years as the head football coach at Mascoutah High School (his alma mater) before solely focusing
on the athletic director role. He has led the athletic department for five years and is instrumental in leading major projects. He is the District 7 rep for the IADA and is on the IHSA advisory committee. Battas and his wife, Kara, have three kids: Brynn (8), Beau (5), and Baer (born Feb. 27, 2019).
